MEDIA RELEASE: The Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce Announces Its Trusted Partner Program

[TORONTO, CANADA, April 1, 2023] – The Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CanWCC) announces the launch of its new Trusted Partner Program.

CanWCC Trusted Partners are “values-vetted” businesses that have the opportunity to provide service offers and discounts to an engaged and growing group of businesswomen.

This program was developed by Catherine Chan, CanWCC’s Vice President, Operations & Governance in an attempt to build more meaningful relationships with the organizations they put before CanWCC’s members and community.

“It matters to our members that we present them with options that are not just a benefit to their bottom line, but who also meet our members’ high bar for the type of ethical business they wish to patronize,” said Ms Chan.

“Additionally, no organization today can afford the reputational risk of being affiliated with a business that does not share their values around Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. It was important to me that CanWCC be a leader in how to accomplish this responsibly, so I created a process that both provides transparency to program applicants as well as structure to internal decision-making,” Chan continued.

CanWCC’s Trusted Partner allows any organization with an office in Canada to apply online to obtain one of the coveted available spots on the following year’s Trusted Partner cohort.

“We’re interested in providing our members with a rotating package of offers that help them and their business to operate and grow,” said Nancy Wilson, CanWCC’s founder and CEO.

Applications are currently open until November 1, 2023 at 11:59pm EST. Current partners also have until November 1, 2023 at 11:59pm EST to submit their application for being renewed for the 2024 Trusted Partner cohort.
