CanWCC Launches Coworking Partner Program to Connect Self-Employed Workers Across Canada

– FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE –

November 4, 2025 – Toronto, Canada – The Canadian Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CanWCC) is launching its Coworking Partner Program to connect coworking spaces with the self-employed women and gender-diverse Canadians who work in them.

Through this initiative, CanWCC is building relationships with coworking spaces across Canada to help its 3,000+ members and associate members find community, access resources and connect with a national network advancing economic equity.

Coworking spaces provide more than a place to work: they offer opportunities for professional connection, shared resources and community, particularly for business owners who may lack access to traditional networks.

Self-employed workers can be difficult to reach through traditional business networks, particularly in rural, remote and Northern communities. CanWCC’s Coworking Partner Program meets entrepreneurs where they already work and gather, strengthening connections between local business communities and a national network.

Collaboration that benefits local communities

The program reflects CanWCC’s belief that commerce and community interests are mutually reinforcing. By collaborating with existing coworking spaces rather than duplicating their services, CanWCC aims to extend the reach of both local resources and national advocacy.

CanWCC will provide promotional postcards for partners to display alongside their existing materials.

Partners will be listed in CanWCC’s member-accessible Coworking Directory, helping members find workspaces in their communities and while travelling. Additionally, partners will have the ability to share their own offerings with CanWCC’s community, creating opportunities for reciprocal visibility and future collaboration.

Coworking spaces interested in becoming a CanWCC partner are invited to connect with the Chamber via partnership (at) canwcc.ca.
