The Childcare Support Pilot for Women Entrepreneurs is a valuable resource for women-owned businesses. Not only can you benefit from the grant-funded childcare available to those that are eligible under the criteria, but your business will also be featured on social media giving you additional exposure.
Starting and growing your business can be challenging for a number of reasons. In partnership with the Government of Ontario and Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship at Ryerson University, Elize Shirdel of The HELM App and Datenight Babysitting wants to help eliminate some of the barriers for women-owned businesses. Women entrepreneurs who fall under the criteria are eligible for childcare under the grant to support them in activities to grow their business such as attending networking meetings, trade shows, sales meetings, accelerators, and last-minute grant application opportunities.
When you qualify for the program, you and your business will also be featured on The HELM App and Datenight Babysitting social media channels. This will help you build awareness of your business.
Once approved for the program, The HELM App team will request a headshot, logo, and send a few questions for you to answer.
